WHEN GOD'S PLAN DOESN'T LOOK LIKE YOUR PLAN
Finding faith, purpose, and hope when life takes an unexpected turn.
There are moments in life when everything seems to be moving according to plan—and then, without warning, the road changes.
A door closes. A dream gets delayed. Something we counted on disappears. We pray for one answer, but God seems to lead us in an entirely different direction.
In those moments, faith becomes more than something we talk about. Faith becomes the decision to keep walking when we cannot yet see where the road leads.
Scripture reminds us, “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” — 2 Corinthians 5:7
God's plan may not always look like the plan we made for ourselves. But an unexpected chapter does not mean the story is over.

THE DETOUR MAY HAVE A PURPOSE
Some of the greatest changes in our lives begin with something we never wanted to happen.
We may see a closed door as failure. God may see it as redirection. We may see a delay as lost time. God may be preparing something we cannot yet see.
Think about Joseph. Betrayed by his brothers, sold into slavery, falsely accused, and imprisoned, his life looked nothing like the future he could have imagined. Yet those very circumstances eventually placed Joseph in a position to save countless lives.
Joseph later told his brothers:
“Ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good.” — Genesis 50:20 (KJV)
That doesn't mean every painful circumstance is good. It means God can still bring purpose from circumstances that are not.
Your current chapter may not make sense yet. Don't mistake the middle of your story for the ending.
KEEP WALKING
Maybe you're standing in a place today that you never expected to be.
You don't have to understand the entire journey before taking the next step. Sometimes faith is simply getting up tomorrow and saying, “God, I still trust You.”
Keep praying. Keep believing. Keep moving forward. Keep doing the next right thing placed in front of you.
The road may be different from the one you planned, but different does not mean forgotten.
Your story is still being written.
“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” — Proverbs 3:5–6 (KJV)
